Job Description:
Our esteemed litigation firm, specializing in medical malpractice, personal injury, and negligence cases, is seeking a dedicated and experienced paralegal to play a crucial role in supporting our legal team. We are committed to delivering top-notch legal services, and we are in search of a motivated individual who shares our passion for excellence.
Responsibilities:
Assist attorneys in all phases of litigation and legal proceedings in medical malpractice, personal injury, and negligence cases
Organize and maintain legal documents and case files
Conduct in-depth legal research and prepare concise summaries of findings
Draft, proofread, and edit a variety of legal documents, including pleadings, motions, and correspondence
Manage and coordinate case calendars, deadlines, and court appearances
Facilitate communication with clients, opposing counsel, and court personnel
Prepare, review, and file legal documents with courts and administrative agencies
Provide essential support for trial preparation, including organizing exhibits and trial binders
Perform administrative tasks to assist attorneys as required
Qualifications:
Associate's degree in paralegal studies or a related field (Bachelor's degree preferred)
Paralegal certification or equivalent work experience
2+ years of experience as a paralegal, with a strong preference for experience in medical malpractice, personal injury, or negligence litigation
Proficiency in legal research and case management software
Exceptional organizational and multitasking skills
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Keen attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy
Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a legal team
